ABOUT WHITMORE CUSTOM HOMES2018 & 2019 BUILDER OF THE YEAR & PARADE HOME OF THE YEAR RECIPIENT
A family owned and operated company, Whitmore Custom Homes is the realization of the lifelong dream of three Michigan brothers. Our lives took us in different directions after college where we each honed a unique set of skills and grew to be successful in our own careers. We then realized that our three separate careers would combine perfectly to fill a need within the residential building industry here in West Michigan. That’s how Whitmore Custom Homes got its start. Together, we each bring our own strengths: quality engineering experience, expert project management, and innovative solutions, to create a well-rounded homebuilding company founded on the highest values of honesty and integrity.
We know that building a new home can be very stressful; there’s a lot of money going out at once, and sometimes it seems like construction may never end. Having a builder that understands your project, and maintains open communication throughout the duration of your home’s construction, can help alleviate some of that stress. That’s what you’ll get from Whitmore Custom Homes: open communication, regular updates, and more than that, a straight answer. We believe that the relationship between a homeowner and their builder should function as a partnership, and partnerships can’t exist without trust. We’ll always give you the honest answer, whether you’re asking about your budget or your location.
When you choose Whitmore Custom Homes to build your dream home, know that you’ll be entering into a partnership: a professional relationship that extends beyond a simple transaction. It’s important to us that we understand your project completely before we even break ground, and from there, we make it a point to keep you updated when a change occurs. By making sure that you know how your project is going at every point of the building process, we hope to show you how positive the building experience can be. Because building your forever home should be exciting, not stressful.
